Dare to be the change
Mrs. Ellen Hagan, former winner of the Vlisco’s Women’s Month Award (2013), is Patron of the Vlisco Tailor Academy. As being the example of a woman who has the faith and courage to realise her dreams, she will be the keynote speaker at the induction ceremony:’ “We need a progressive mentality for women’s empower and leadership. We need to, “Dare to be the Change”, “force a change” where necessary. To “dare” means to take risks, to step out of our comfort zones, to let hope triumph fear and learning conquer ignorance. Ultimately, daring to be the change means facilitating women through learning, labour, and leadership. These are the “3 L’s” of women’s empowerment.”
